What is the 25 Campaign?
Spread the Joy of Giving and support a family this Christmas.
The original idea behind this is simple: Could we get 25 people to donate £25 to support 25 families who need help at this time, with 25 hampers on the 25th of December? With that, the 252525 campaign was born. I (Revd Mark James, Rector of Bradworthy Benefice) initially did this in 2016, when £25 could buy a hamper. That year, we supported 2000 people. The same hamper today costs £50
There are two sides to this:
1. Identify organisations and charity groups with day-to-day access to those families who, at this point in time needs help. We all need help at some point.
2. Once point 1 is understood, this website, and via another donation route, would raise as much money as possible to fulfil the demand. With the money raised, my team would buy stock and package hampers and deliver them to the organisation, who would then pass them on to those they support.
